Pay-Per-Project Pricing

Pay-per-project lets you access the features of a higher Estimatics tier for a single inspection job — without upgrading your monthly or annual subscription. You pay once per project and the elevated features apply only to that job.

These are one-time charges per job. They do not affect your recurring subscription.

When pay-per-project makes sense

Pay-per-project is the right choice when the math doesn't add up for a full upgrade:

You're on FIELD and have one complex claim this month Upgrading to CERTIFY would cost $149/mo. If you only need CERTIFY features for one job, the $279 pay-per-project charge is only worth it if that single claim justifies it — which it often does on high-value properties. For multiple complex claims per month, upgrading is cheaper.

You're on SCOPE and occasionally need CERTIFY features Full upgrade to CERTIFY is $149/mo ($80 more than SCOPE). If you handle one CERTIFY-level claim per month, pay-per-project at $279 costs more — upgrade instead. If you handle one every few months, pay-per-project wins.

You want to test higher-tier features before committing to an upgrade A pay-per-project purchase on a real job gives you full hands-on experience with the features before you decide to upgrade your plan.

How to purchase a pay-per-project upgrade

Open the job you want to upgrade
Click Upgrade This Job in the job header or in the module tab that requires a higher tier
Select the tier level (FIELD, SCOPE, or CERTIFY features)
Review the one-time charge
Click Purchase — charged to your payment method on file

The elevated features are available on that job immediately and permanently. The job retains the higher-tier features even if you later downgrade your subscription plan.

Important: Certified Evidence and pay-per-project

For CERTIFY-level pay-per-project purchases, the Certified Evidence hash chain is applied to media captured after the purchase is made. Media already in the job before the purchase is not retroactively certified.

Best practice: If you know a job will need Certified Evidence, purchase the CERTIFY-level upgrade before you start capturing — not after. This ensures every piece of evidence in the job carries the tamper-proof certification from the moment of capture.

Frequently asked questions

Can I purchase pay-per-project on a job that already has some media? Yes. New media captured after the purchase will be at the elevated tier. Existing media is processed at the tier level active when it was captured.

Does pay-per-project affect other jobs in my organization? No. The upgrade applies only to the specific job you purchased it for. All other jobs remain at your subscription plan level.

Is pay-per-project refundable? Pay-per-project charges are non-refundable once the job has been processed at the elevated tier. Contact support@aiestimatics.com within 24 hours of purchase if you made an error before any processing occurs.

Can I apply a pay-per-project purchase to a closed job? No. Pay-per-project upgrades apply to active jobs only.

Do pay-per-project charges appear on my monthly invoice? Yes. They appear as separate line items on your billing invoice alongside your recurring subscription charge.
